Vietnamese youth in Cuba promote achievements

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Cuba held a ceremony on March 26 to mark the union's 94th founding anniversary (March 26, 1931 – 2025) and launched a campaign encouraging academic excellence and personal development throughout 2025.

Speaking at the event, Bui Tuan Minh, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Cuba, reflected on the union's achievements in 2024. He also highlighted the dedication and discipline of its members, who have excelled despite challenges abroad, serving as role models in both academic and social spheres.

In the 2023-2024 academic year, 14 union members graduated in Cuba, with nine achieving excellent results. Each member demonstrated a commitment to self-development and upheld a strong understanding of the Vietnamese Party's and State's political ideologies while respecting local laws and regulations.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Cuba Le Quang Long praised the union members for their academic performance and responsible conduct, which have left a positive impression on Cuban educators, peers, and the international community.

The ambassador encouraged the union to amplify its activities during the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Year 2025, contributing to the deepening ties between the two nations.
