Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, a master’s student at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, described the 14th Party Congress as a particularly important milestone along national development path.

In her view, the Congress opens up a new era dedicated to achieving two major goals marking the centenary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the nation’s founding. Reflecting on recent achievements, she is confident that the Party will continue to pursue sound, practical policies to steer Vietnam’s progress in the years ahead.

As a Party member, Lan Anh follows cultural affairs closely. Recent developments, she noted, have underscored the growing importance of culture and its soft power in projecting national identity and reinforcing great national unity. She expressed her hope that, alongside deliberations on political, socio-economic, and diplomatic issues, the 14th Congress would place greater emphasis on cultural development, the preservation of great national unity, the cultivation of patriotism and a spirit of contribution among citizens at home and abroad.

Although not a Party member, Le Thi Anh Thu, a master’s student at Beijing Sport University, also conveyed optimism that the Congress would deliver policies attuned to Vietnam’s realities, capable of supporting sustainable socio-economic progress and higher living standards. She called for sustained priority investment in such key areas as science, education-training, hailing them as fundamental to Vietnam’s long-term growth.

Thu further stressed that tourism, culture and sports merit more attention, both to improve life quality and public health and spread Vietnam’s images globally. With broad societal unity and determination, she believed that Vietnam will continue to move forward, maintain stability, and deepen its integration with the region and the wider world.

Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai, a master’s student at Renmin University of China, described the 14th Party Congress as a major political event that has generated strong confidence and expectations among officials, Party members and the general public. She hoped that the Party would continue to introduce timely and effective policies to drive socio-economic development and improve material and spiritual well-being.

In particular, Mai anticipated that the Congress would devote greater attention to the youth, offering all possible support to them to pursue education, hone their skills and make fuller contributions to the country’s future.
