Vietnamese students have won two gold, two silver and two bronze medals at the 47th International Maths Olympiads held in Slovenia.

The two gold medals went to Nguyen Duy Manh from Nguyen Trai gifted high school in Hai Duong, and Hoang Manh Hung from the gifted high school under National University of Hanoi, who gained 29 and 28 points respectively.

Two silver medallists were Nguyen Xuan Tho from the Vinh Phuc provincial gifted high school and Le Nam Truong from the Ha Tinh provincial gifted high school, who earned 22 and 19 points respectively.   

Dang Bao Duc from the Hanoi National University and Le Hong Quy from the Vinh University clinched two bronze medals.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam will play host to the 48th competition.
