VOV.VN - Ship SAR 273 of the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center (Vietnam MRCC) docked in Nha Trang city of the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa on March 3 as they took an Ukrainian sailor ashore for treatment after falling into a coma.

This comes after midnight of March 2 when Vietnam MRCC received a request for rescue from the Greek-flagged crude oil tanker Maran Thetis which had been en route from China to Singapore.

Immediately after receiving this information, the centre guided the ship's staff in providing urgent first aid for the victim while simultaneously dispatching vessel SAR 273 with doctors onboard to the ship.
