An agreement to this effect was signed in Hanoi on July 26 during a working visit to Vietnam from July 25-30 by Casa Asia General Director Ion de la Riva.
Casa Asia is a public association set up in 2001 and run by the Spanish King and Queen in order to accelerate various projects and activities to develop the relations between Spain and Asian-Pacific countries, particularly in economics, scientific research and education.
According to General Director Riva, Casa Asia has organised various programmes such as seminars, talks and photo exhibitions to introduce Vietnam to Spanish people.
He said that the Festival Asia, held by Casa Asia with the participation of Vietnamese artists, has helped Spanish audiences to gain better understanding of Vietnam's thousand-year old culture.
