The Vietnamese Association in Belgium held a charitable party on October 31 and collected €1,400 to help the victims of storm Ketsana in the Central and Central Highland regions of Vietnam.  

The Association had sent €1,000 to Vietnam earlier through the Vietnamese Embassy in Belgium.

On the same day, representatives of Vietnamese people in Woolwich, London donated ₤1,164 to the Vietnamese Embassy to help the victims in their home country.

Also on October 31, the Association of Haiphong people in Toronto, Canda contributed CN$4,140 to help the flood victims.

Storm Ketsana swept across the central and Central Highland provinces a month ago killing more than 160 people and causing huge property damage.
