The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) has issued a decision to create a Vietnamese labour management board, under the Vietnamese Embassy in Libya.

The board will be tasked with conducting research into Libya’s market and its policies on foreign labourers, then proposing policies and management models to the Department for Overseas Labour Management, under MoLISA to bring Vietnamese labourers to Libya.

The board will also inspect conditions and solicit contracts for Vietnamese labour, monitor the legal status of Libya’s businesses, suggest measures to develop relations and deploy cooperative activities with Libya in the fields of labour and social affairs.

The Vietnamese labour management board will also guide businesses on approaching the market and signing labour contracts in line with the regulations of both countries and handle any disputes and problems arising therefrom.

The board’s mission is to protect the legal rights and interests of labourers and ensure that businesses strictly follow regulations.
