The Overseas Vietnamese Association in Poland has raised £1,700 for orphans in Vietnam at a concert to celebrate the Lunar New Year and to mark the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
Despite the freezing cold temperature of minus 200C, nearly 1,000 Vietnamese residents across Poland came to Tapiola Theatre in Tapiola City to attend the spring festival. They had a chance to enjoy music and dance performances, comedy and lion dances.
The event aims to encourage Vietnamese residents, especially the younger generations, to maintain and develop their traditional cultural beauties and closer relations with native land.
