Vietnamese in Czech Republic celebrate Int’l Women’s Day

VOV.VN - The Vietnam Women’s Union in the Czech Republic held a gala event on March 4 to commemorate the International Women’s Day at the Sapa Trade Centre in Prague.

The event was attended by Vietnam Ambassador to the Czech Republic Truong Manh Son and his wife, Head of the Overseas Vietnamese Association in the Czech Republic Hoang Dinh Thang and representatives of organizations and unions of the Vietnamese community living in the Czech Republic.

Speaking at the event, Head of the Vietnamese Women’s Association in the Czech Republic Vu Thi Ha highlighted the role of Vietnamese women in social work and exchange events with local residents.

In addition, Ha said, the Vietnamese Women’s Association in the Czech Republic always participates in activities organized by the Overseas Vietnamese Association in the Czech Republic such as Vietnam Women’s Day, Tet holiday, Children’s Day and Mid-Autumn Festival.
