According to the newly-signed supplement, the two sides will create more favourable conditions for their businesses to cooperate in economic development. Montreuil city will actively assist Hai Duong in developing agriculture, education and training, waste treatment, and urban construction.

On the occasion, the two localities’ leaders also approved contents to be discussed at a conference on cooperation among Vietnamese and French localities, scheduled to take place in Montreuil city on October 22, 2007.
