Vietnamese embassy, Pyongyang attends charity event
(VOV) - The Pyongyang International Women's Association (PIWA) recently hosted a charity bazaar in Pyongyang, attracting 20 international organisations and embassies including Vietnamese embassy in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).
During the event, the Vietnamese pavilion attracted international friends with typical cultural products such as conical hats, bamboo frame, silk cloth, lacquer products, culinary arts and photos of Vietnamese landscape and its people.
Visitors were especially impressed with Vietnam’s bicycles, conical hats and baskets of flowers.
During the event, the Vietnam embassy was raising EUR625 while the PIWA has collected EUR5,680 to benefit poor children living in harsh conditions in the DPRK.
