The Prime Minister has agreed to organise the Vietnamese Days in China and Russia in 2010 to promote trade, investment and tourism as well as the image of Vietnam abroad.
The Vietnamese Days in China will be held to mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties and the Vietnam-China Friendship Year 2010.
Meanwhile, the Vietnamese Days in Russia is part of activities to celebrate 60 years of diplomacy between the two countries.
The PM directed the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to draw up detailed plans for the two events.
Every year the Vietnamese Days take place in two to three countries. In 2009 Vietnam held its cultural events in India (in November) and Spain (in December).
