Around 1,000 people enjoyed ‘Vietnamese cultural days’ held in the Russian republic of Bashkortostan on July 6-7.
14 performances by Vietnamese artists and local artists took place in the Cultural Palace in the capital city of Ufa. Displayed at its entrance hall were traditional Vietnamese musical instruments, handicrafts and traditional costumes.
The Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Tran Chien Thang, said this cultural event was aimed at introducing the Bashkortostan people to Vietnamese culture.
The Bashkortostan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Ethnic Peoples, Ilydus Ilishev, said he hoped that the event would help to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries, especially in the cultural field.
