The statement was made by Ha Thi Khiet, the Secretary of the CPV Central Committee and Head of the CPV's Central Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilisation at a meeting with the Cambodian Women’s League, headed by Senator Mean Sam An, who is visiting Vietnam from April 12-18.

Ms Khiet conveyed her best wishes to the delegation on the occasion of Cambodia’s traditional New Year festival and expressed appreciation for Cambodian women’s efforts to improve their living conditions.

Ms An said women from Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia have established a close bond of friendship. In the current socio-economic development process, women from the three countries should further strengthen co-operative ties to help each other further develop, she said.
