Vietnamese and Chinese cyclists join friendship cross-border ride

VOV.VN - As many as 300 Chinese and Vietnamese cyclists took part in a cross-border cycling activity on March 31.

They started from the border gate pair of Hoanh Mo (Vietnam) – Dongzhong (China) and finished in Binh Lieu district of Quang Ninh province (Vietnam).

Furthermore, there were an additional 30 people driving motorbikes to lead the group and over 80 people responsible for ensuring medical work and security during the ride.

According to the organising board, the event was part of activities to celebrate 75 years of Vietnam - China diplomatic relations and to respond to the Year of Vietnam-China Humanistic Exchange 2025.

It also contributed to strengthening solidarity; promoting people-to-people, cultural, and sporting exchanges; and increasing border tourism ties between the two countries and their involved localities.
