Vietnam wins silver medal at world robot contest in Panama

VOV.VN - Vietnamese team grabbed silver medal at 2025 FIRST Global Challenge, the international robotics competition for junior and high school students, which was held in Panama from October 29 to November 1.

This year’s competition, themed “Eco Equilibrium,” drew over 190 teams from around the world. It focused on restoring ecosystems, protecting biodiversity, and helping the planet regain balance.

The local team, composed of five members, carried a message about environmental protection. They highlighted Vietnam’s diverse natural environment through creativity and a spirit of STEM. The championship title went to Venezuela, while the host country took the bronze medal.

The FIRST Global Challenge is a non-profit organization that aims to inspire young people worldwide to develop leadership and innovation in science and technology, strenghening global understanding.
