The announcement was made by the Office of the National Steering Committee on overcoming consequences of AO/dioxin under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the US Embassy in Hanoi on August 12.

JAC is a bilateral forum for high-level scientific dialogues on AO/dioxin, aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries in tackling issues related to human health and dangerous effects of AO/dioxin on the environment. It also provides scientific consultancy for policy-makers of both governments.

The previous meetings focused on discussing research results in the field of health and environment. This year’s meeting will further discuss bilateral cooperation in this area.
