The event, the first of its kind in Vietnam, seeks to contribute to the development of “Smart Health care” in Ho Chi Minh City, and support the National Digital Transformation Strategy.

It also aims to commemorate significant milestones, including the 50th anniversary of the southern liberation and the national reunification, the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, and the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors’ Day.

The conference is expected to bring together 700 leaders, experts and scientists from healthcare, science, and technology sectors, as well as representatives from hospitals and healthcare tech companies in the southern city. It will provide a unique platform for experts, researchers and innovators to share insights, connect, and collaborate towards building an advanced and sustainable healthcare ecosystem.

The conference will feature speeches by Dr. Angela Pratt, representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) Country Office in Vietnam; Dr. Chris Bates, director of Research & Analytics of TPP of the UK; and Lai Lai-Shiun, director of Computer and Communications Center of Taichung Veterans General Hospital and chief executive Officer of Smart Medical Committee.

In-depth discussions will include AI applications in emergency medical dispatch, AI and smart healthcare infrastructure, and AI-driven cybersecurity solutions in the healthcare industry.

The conference is expected to be an annual, large-scale, and professional forum specifically for experts, managers, and businesses to exchange, learn, and contribute to the development of the smart healthcare industry in Vietnam.
