A number of domestic and overseas environmental experts met in the central city of Da Nang on August 25 to share their experiences in coping with climate change.
They focused on measurement to cope with natural disasters and implement a number of pilot models on disaster control used in Da Nang City.
The workshop was held in coordination with the Canadian Institute for Social and Environmental Transition (ISET) and Challenge to Change, a non-governmental organisation from the UK.
Da Nang, Can Tho and Binh Dinh in Vietnam were selected to take part in the project.
In Da Nang, the project has been carried out in many districts and has helped the local authorities and residents to effectively cope with climate change.
