The 24-member team of Vietnam also won five bronze medals and received six certifications of excellent professional skills.

They defeated their regional rivals in the fields of computer graphics, applied electronics and fine art wood work.

The Vietnamese participants, selected from the 36 winners of the 2006 national skills contest, competed in 12 different disciplines at the regional competition.
