The event was organised by Korea’s Ministry of Labour with the aim of strengthening the understanding, friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

More than 20 Korean and Vietnamese businesses from the Hanoi region have taken part in the festival.

The highlights of the festival include a job-seeking fair, free job consulting, a photo exhibition on the daily lives of Vietnamese guest workers in Korea and performances to introduce Korea’s traditional costumes and games. There are also a forum on developing professional skills and a seminar on work-related accident insurance regulations.

During the event, Korean health personnel have examined and provided free treatment for workers with work-related accidents and introduced regulations to help handicapped people enter and stay in the work force.
