Vietnam presents Friendship Medal to former Argentinean Ambassador
The Embassy of Vietnam in Buenos Aires has decided to present the President’s Friendship Medal to Claudio Gutierrez, former Argentinean Ambassador to Vietnam, for his contributions to the two countries’ relations.

A presentation ceremony was held on April 28 in Buenos Aires during which Vietnamese Ambassador to Argentina Nguyen Dinh Thao handed over the medal to Gutierrez.
Ambassador Thao praised the efforts of former Ambassador Gutierrez in fostering cooperation between Vietnam and Argentina, hoping that he will continue to contribute to bilateral ties.
For his part, Gutierrez thanked the Vietnamese State and people and reviewed activities between the two countries’ during his three-year tenure in Vietnam, especially trade relations that maintained high growth, making a turnover of US$3 billion in 2016.
He also expressed his hope that the two countries’ cooperation will further develop.
