The Vietnam-Laos Joint Committee for Land Border Demarcation and Marker Planting has conducted a bilateral survey to define the exact position that national border marker No 460 should be planted at the Thanh Thuy International bordergate in central Nghe An province’s Thanh Chuong district.

This will be the 13th marker on the Vietnam-Laos border to be planted before the end of this year as part of the border marker planting project between Vietnam and Laos.

This border marker not only delineates the border between the two countries, it is a cultural place for visitors to enjoy scenery as well as traffic safety along border area.
