The visiting Israeli agro-tech delegation inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with representatives of Vietnamese universities and colleges in Hanoi on December 26 to implement a programme of study for Vietnamese students in Israel.

Under the programme, Vietnamese students will attend on-site agricultural training and academic studies in Granot’s facilities. So far, more than 30 Vietnamese students have taken part in the programme.

The Israeli delegation came from the International Centre for Agricultural Studies in Israel. During their visit to Vietnam from December 24-30, the delegation will sign MoUs with Ha Tay Agriculture Colleges, Nam Dinh Irrigation College, Tra Vinh University, Can Tho University and HCM City University of Agro-Forestry. They will also work with the Ministry of Education and Training and visit Hanoi Agriculture University.

The International Centre for Agricultural Studies in Israel is part of the Granot Group – the leading agricultural enterprise in Israel. The centre provides advanced training courses and studies in various fields of agriculture for foreign students coming from many countries, including Thailand, India, Malaysia and the Philippines.
