Vietnam, Indonesia foster friendship ties
(VOV) - On January 15, a delegation led by General Director of Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and President of the Vietnam-Indonesia Friendship Association (VIFA) concluded a goodwill visit to Indonesia.
During their five-day visit, the members of the delegation met with their counterparts from the Indonesia-Vietnam Friendship Association (IVFA), with the aim of strengthening collaboration between the two organizations.

The delegation hoped to gain valuable insights in how Indonesia deals with challenges that are very similar to that of Vietnam and to share experiences on the promotion of social and economic development.

In-depth discussions were also held with the IVFA and government officials with regards to trade, investment, cooperation, tourism, along with meetings specifically addressing experiences in coping with a number of social ills such as traffic congestion in both Jakarta and Hanoi.

They also met with leaders of Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) to review cooperative results between the two radio stations one year after signing a memorandum of understanding.
