An exhibition on ten years of Vietnam-Germany scientific and technological cooperation opened in Hanoi on September 27.

The exhibition was co-organised by the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

The exhibition introduced remarkable cooperation achievements in biotechnology, environment, water and wastewater technology over the past ten years.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister of Science and Technology Hoang Van Phong and BMBF’s State Secretary Prof. Dr. Frieder Meyer-Krahmer highlighted cooperation achievements the two countries have recorded over the past 10 years and hoped that the cooperation will be more effective and practical in future.

In the 2006-2010 period, the two sides agreed to cooperate in such fields as biotechnology, water technology and environment.
