Vietnam and Germany have committed to cooperate in fighting organised crime, particularly in preventing terror, children and women trafficking, and illicit drug trading.

A governmental agreement to this effect was signed recently between the Vietnamese Minister of Public Security General Le Hong Anh and German Federal Minister of the Interior Wolfgang Schauble during Minister Anh’s official visit to Germany from August 31-September 1.

During their talks, the two sides affirmed their willingness to exchange information, share experiences and support each other in personnel training.

Additionally, they vowed to increase exchanges of high-ranking delegations, as well as specialists of the two ministries, and discussed the appointment of representatives to the two countries.
