Deputy Minister of Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) Tran Quoc Thang: Vietnam considers the development of science and technology as well as education and training a national top policy and an important driving force behind the country’s modernisation and industrialisation process.

Mr Thang made the statement at a seminar in Hanoi on March 7 to discuss scientific cooperation between Vietnam and France


Mr Thang said in the process of national construction and development, Vietnam always attaches its importance to boosting international cooperation to learn and share experiences in the field of science and technology.


He also highlighted Vietnamese and French scientists’ great contribution to develop cooperation relations between the two countries in the field of science and technology.


During the seminar, the two signed an agreement on scientific and technological cooperation and concluded a deal on exchanging and supporting scientific activities between the two sides. 


The seminar was held by the French Embassy in Vietnam and the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST).
