The NSSP, a research project by the Department of Science and Technology of southern Dong Nai province, was the first of its kind developed in Vietnam.

The research received support from the government as part of efforts to implement the e-government model.

The sixth APICTA contest, held in Macau from November 2-5, drew 175 entries from member economies of the APICTA network. The Vietnamese delegation brought 12 IT products to the event.

The APICTA was aimed at increasing ICT awareness and helping bridge the digital gap among countries.
