Vietnamese police have verified and filed dossiers on seven Australian nationals of Vietnamese origin who are wanted by the Australian Federal Police (AFP) for murder and child sexual abuse charges, said the Ministry of Public of Security's Department for Criminal Investigation.
Vietnamese police have also helped their Australian colleagues in investigating and arresting criminals and provided the AFP with information relating to its investigations, according to the Department.
For effective co-operation in the future, the AFP will help Vietnam with updated criminal information, investigation experiences and equipment, said the department.
