Through the October 26-November 6 course, Vietnam’s drug control agencies wished to boost cooperation with the Australian side in preventing trans-national drug crime and improving the professional skills of the Vietnamese police.

Vietnamese officers were trained by Australia’s leading drug interdiction experts in methods to effectively deploy resources to address the causes of such crimes as well as ways to identify and initiate legal proceedings against people charged with criminal acts.
