The event, known as DSA, is one of the five largest exhibitions in the world and the largest security and national defence exhibition in Asia. It involves over 700 companies from 40 countries, including Russia and the US, which are displaying hundreds of military equipment, including planes, warships, armoured cars, missiles, air defence systems and military uniforms.

The Vietnamese delegation, led by Leut. Gen. Pham Hong Loi, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, took this occasion to share experiences with international friends in national defence.

The 12^th DSA is expected to see the signing of numerous contracts, including Malaysia’s contracts, worth US$3.25 billion, on the purchase of tanks, warplanes and submarines.
