VOV.VN - The Vietnam – ASOCIO Smart City Summit 2021 is scheduled to be held next month by the Vietnam Software Association (VINASA) and the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organisation (ASOCIO).
Running with the theme of “Smart City”, the event will be held from November 2 to November 6 via an online platform and will primarily focus on discussions relating to the latest technology trends in smart cities. The occasion is expected to draw the participation of roughly 10,000 delegates from both the nation and abroad.
The event will provide a platform for experts in which they can share their information and practices in developing smart cities and improving living standards of urban citizens through 14 discussions across five topics. These will include Digital Government, Smart Real Estate, Smart Industrial Parks, Products/Solutions for Smart City, and Startup with Smart City.
The function will also feature a virtual exhibition on e-Government solutions, services, and platforms across multiple areas.
The Government previously adopted a project in August, 2018, for sustainable development of local smart cities from 2018 to 2025, with a vision towards 2030. Since then, some 40 cities and provinces in the country have developed and approved their own smart city plans.
