The president of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Huynh Dam, sent a letter of congratulation to the Association of Vietnamese in France, on the occasion of its 12th congress.

In his letter, Mr. Dam wrote he was very delighted that the community of Vietnamese in France has contributed greatly to the struggle for national independence as well as the cause of national industrialisation and modernization since the association’s establishment in 1919.

“They have always helped each other in their lives and performed many services for their home country,” he said.

He expressed his beliefs that in the future, the association will help unite the Vietnamese community in France, bring into full play the national tradition, integrate into the country of their residence, promote the friendship between Vietnam and France, and respond to national patriotism campaigns launched by the VFF, so as to make greater contribution to building a strong and wealthy homeland.
