The US organisation presented the equipment to the Department of Thorax-Cardiovascular Surgery under the Vietnam-German Friendship hospital to help treat patients effectively in post-surgery period and improve the capacity of cardiovascular surgery.

The organisation had previously donated medical equipment to some health centres in Vietnam such as Hue Central Hospital, Cho Ray Hospital, Da Nang and Binh Duong hospitals.
