US Navy chefs learn to cook Vietnamese style

VOV.VN - More than 20 navy cooks of the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier learned how to make Vietnamese food at the Madame Lan Restaurant in the district of Hai Chau in the central city of Da Nang during an a cultural cuisine exchange with the restaurant’s chefs on the afternoon of March 6.

The exchange was part of activities organized by the Da Nang Department of Tourism to promote Vietnamese cuisine to US cooks.

During the hour long lesson, the navy cooks are taught how to make Quang noodle soup (Mi Quang), rice pancakes (Banh Xeo), and spring rolls (Nem Ran). They are of particular interest to Vietnamese food.
