The ceremony, held on February 6, was attended by the director of the provincial education department, the president of Unitel in Laos, and representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos.

Participants in the presentation ceremony affirmed that these gifts are very useful for helping Lao pupils in mountainous areas access updated information and modern knowledge.

The Udomsay Provincial Boarding School was built by Vietnam as a gift to Laos and has been in operation since 1996. It provides children from 14 ethnic groups in the province with a good venue to study and now has 10 classes with a total of 360 students.
