Following a two-day table-top tactical training exercise, British military medical personnel from the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force are providing practical advice and guidance to Vietnam People’s Army medical staff preparing to deploy a Level 2 Hospital at the United Nations Mission in Bentiu of South Sudan in October 2019.

In a full-scale mock-up of a Level 2 Hospital at 301 Infantry Division’s sports stadium, the Vietnamese medical staff are undertaking a field training exercise during which they practice dealing with the types of injuries, diseases and unexpected events that can happen in Bentiu.

The exercise continues until July 1 when the UK medical experts will return home.
