Two Japanese training ships arrive for Vietnam visit

VOV.VN - Two Japanese training ships, SETOYUKI and SHIMAYUKI, docked at Tien Sa Port in the central coastal city of Danang complete with 400 officers and crew members on board to mark the beginning of a four-day visit to Vietnam on March 6.

Two naval destroyers arrived at Tien Sa Port in the city of Da Nang on March 6.
Delegates from the Japanese vessels paid a visit to leaders of Da Nang’s People's Committee, the Naval Command of Military Region 5, and the Naval Command of Region 3, as well as visiting ships of the Vietnamese People's Navy. Here both parties take a photograph together.
As scheduled, the Japanese guests will take part in a sporting event, as well as visiting the many famous tourist attractions located in Da Nang.
 
Colonel Nakagama Yoshiyuki of the Japanese Navy says the visit will help to forge stronger relations and friendships between the two countries.
The Japanese training ships have been equipped with the latest modern technology.
