Two Chinese nationals arrested for consuming counterfeit money
VOV.VN - Police forces in Mong Cai City in the northern province of Quang Ninh have detained two Chinese nationals for using counterfeit money.

This comes after August 16 when local residents detected a Chinese man who was using counterfeit Chinese Yuan to exchange for Vietnamese currency in the area of Hung Vuong road in Ka Long district.
Upon receiving the news, local police conducted a search and found two Chinese suspects who were travelling on Trieu Duong road in Tran Phu district.
They were identified as Song Xhi Jie, 35, residing in Xianning City in Hubei province; and Guo Jun, 29, residing in Kunming City in Yunnan province.
The police arrested the two Chinese nationals and seized a total of 187 notes of 100 Yuan.
Once at the police station, the Chinese suspects confessed that they had brought counterfeit Chinese Yuan from China to Vietnam to trade. The case is currently under further investigation.
