Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Bui Van Huan, Vice Chairman of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People’s Army highlighted the significance of Truong Sa Islands liberation campaign on April 1975, launched by the Vietnam People’s Navy. Mr Huan also praised the great efforts made by people and soldiers of Truong Sa in protecting and developing the island district.

On the occasion, various ministries, departments and mass organizations sent gifts to people and soldiers in Truong Sa Island District.
