A tropical low pressure front strengthened into a storm on September 10, making it the seventh in the East Sea this year.

Wind speeds are expected to reach gale force 8 (62-74km/h), with gusts exceeding gale force 9,10.

Meteorologists predict that the storm will move west by-north-west at 15 km per hour over the next 24 hours

Due to the storm, rough seas are expected in the northern East Sea. On September 11, wind speeds will reach gale force 6, with gusts exceeding 9 or 10 in the areas near the eye of the storm.

In addition, due to the south-western monsoon, strong winds and rough seas are expected in all areas from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau. Rain will also appear in the central highland and southern provinces in the next few days.
