During the visit, Nguyen Van Dung, member of the VGCL Executive Board and head of the delegation, was received by Vongphet Saykeu Yachongtua, President of the Lao Trade Union Federation Central Committee.

Vongphet Saykeu Yachongtua stressed that the visit contributed to boosting relations between the two countries.

He also highlighted the role of the Lao Trade Union Federation and its activities, as well as its preparations for the sixth Congress of the federation to be held at the end of this year.

The Vietnamese delegation met with officials of the Lao trade union in Vientiane and other localities in Laos to exchange experiences in building and developing the working class in the new period.
