Thanh Tu named S Project goodwill ambassador

VOV.VN - First runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2016 Thanh Tu has been appointed as a goodwill ambassador of S Project – a significant project in the fight against child abuse.

First runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2016 Thanh Tu
S Project is devoted to teaching sex education at primary and junior secondary schools throughout Vietnam. As well as sexual education talks, the project organises painting, letter-writing, and photography sessions which have helped pupils to identify sexual abuse and harassment behaviors and learn methods of self-protection.

Although the project has been implemented for three years, it is the first time it has appointed a goodwill ambassador.

With her influence, Thanh Tu hopes to call on the support of wider society to help children gain a better understanding of gender and develop the skills to fight against sexual abuse. It also helps bridge a gap between parents and children when talking about sex and sex education.
