Thais continue to mourn late King Bhumibol Adulyadej
Thais nationwide visited Dusit Maha Prasart Throne Hall to pay respects to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
Many of them were from Yasothon, Phichit, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Chiang Mai and Phuket provinces.
Among the mourners was Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay who first visited the Office of His Majesty's Principal Private Secretary to write words of condolence in a tribute book before visiting the throne hall.
Meanwhile, the Joint Command Center for Peace and Order around the Grand Palace is set to adjust its crowd control plan as the waiting area needs to be relocated to the south of Sanam Luang to pave the way for the upcoming royal ploughing ceremony.
Eight security checkpoints will be reduced to five as spaces are required for the ceremony. As for the construction of the royal crematorium, Deputy Prime Minister Gen Thanasak Patimapakorn said it will be completed no later than September.
