Vietnamese nationals in Japan gathered at the Vietnamese Embassy in Tokyo on February 13 to enjoy New Year’s Eve party.
Ambassador Nguyen Phu Binh praised the Vietnamese community for strengthening unity and carrying out humanitarian activities to support their compatriots affected by natural disasters in the homeland.
He extended Tet Greetings and called on the community to share difficulties and help each other to build a strong and prosperous community in Japan.
About 200 Vietnamese nationals, students and trainees enjoyed traditional dishes they made themselves and a special art programme in praise of the Party, the country and the spring.
“I feel as if I am celebrating the Tet holiday with my relatives in the homeland,” said Hai Yen, who has attended the celebration for the first time. ”I wish all of us good health, happiness and prosperity, and believe that Vietnam will be known worldwide.”
