Tens of thousands passing through Tan Son Nhat daily

VOV.VN - The terminals for international flights at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City have been serving an estimated 20,000 passengers daily for the past few days as travellers head home for TET.

According to airport customs, travel has been up 30% over what it is on normal days with the number of flights having jumped to 150 per day, 20 more than were scheduled last year at this same time.

Additionally, to facilitate passenger service, airport customs has beefed up the number of staff on duty and authorized more overtime over the TET holiday as well as streamlined processing procedures compared to last year.
