Techfest 2025 set to ignite nationwide innovation spirit
VOV.VN - Techfest Vietnam 2025, the country’s largest annual festival for innovative startups, is set to take place from December 12–14 in Hanoi, showcasing the country’s commitment to harnessing social creativity and positioning innovation as a key driver of economic growth in the new era.
The event, themed “Creative Startups for All People – New Growth Drivers”, is jointly held by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Hanoi People’s Committee, and relevant partners.
Techfest 2025 is expected to focus on building multi-level connections among policymakers, investors, enterprises, startups, experts, and international organisations, forming a collaborative network for sustainable growth. Simultaneously, it reinforces Hanoi’s position as a national innovation hub where knowledge, culture, and technology converge.
The festival highlights inclusive innovation, encouraging technology commercialization and the development of new products to ensure that no one is left behind in Vietnam’s transition to a knowledge-driven economy.
This year’s programme features a series of pre-event activities, including investment networking sessions, the qualifying and semi-final rounds of the National Innovation Startup Talent Search Competition, and talks aimed at attracting international experts.
During the main event, activities will include the opening ceremony, a national policy forum on innovation and international investment cooperation, and the final round of the startup talent search competition.
Thematic seminars will cover topics such as international cooperation in tech-based human resource training, local socio-economic development through startups. social and open innovation, as well as linking high-tech agricultural zones with local creative startups.
Sideline events include investor dialogues with AI startups, discussions on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and industrial parks, AI upskilling initiatives for the public, and sessions on green education from classroom to practice.
Techfest 2025 is expected to provide a comprehensive overview of Vietnam’s innovation landscape, while opening opportunities for collaboration, investment, and growth for both domestic and international startup communities.
