Tay Ninh, RoK’s Chungcheongnam launch youth volunteer, cultural exchange programme
The youth union of Tay Ninh has partnered with the Institute of Social Welfare, Women, Family, and Youth of the Republic of Korea’s Chungcheongnam province to organise a volunteer and exchange programme in the southern Vietnamese province from July 15 - 20.

The event featured cultural and culinary exchanges, volunteer work, and social welfare activities.
At the opening ceremony in the afternoon of July 15, Yu Esdeo, head of the institute's division of youth affairs, said the friendship and cooperation between the two localities have been nurtured for the past two decades. The exchange programme offers their young people an opportunity to meet in person and share their cultures, further strengthening bilateral ties.
She expressed her confidence that despite language and cultural differences, the youths can grow together through empathy, mutual understanding, and a spirit of cooperation.
Pham Van Hau, deputy secretary of Tay Ninh’s youth union, said the success of past exchanges has laid a solid foundation for the two sides to organise more meaningful and practical activities in the future.
At the event, Tran Hai Phu, secretary of the union, presented gifts to young participants from Chungcheongnam.
