A 57-year-old man in Hanoi’s Dong Da district has died after contracting the deadly strain of A/H1N1 virus, the Ministry of Health reported on December 11.
The victim, who had previously suffered from African Dengue Fever, died at the Vietnam-France hospital on November 30 due to blood infection, respiratory failure and dengue fever.
To date, more than 11,000 cases of super flu have been confirmed in Vietnam, of whom 47 had died.
